I understand that all BigStuf attendees must exhibit appropriate behavior while participating in BigStuf activities.
Every person deserves to feel comfortable in his or her surroundings, and to feel safe physically, sexually, emotionally, and spiritually. My church agrees to hold BigStuf harmless and to indemnify BigStuf from any damages or costs as a result of inappropriate behavior on the part of any adult leaders or students in attendance.
Appropriate behavior includes (but is not limited to):
BigStuf Leadership and Employees have the authority to have anyone removed from the BigStuf Camp for violation of any BigStuf policies and standards. BigStuf execution of this authority will always include consultation with group leadership.
Reasons for removal may include, but are not limited to: breaking camp rules, regulations or guidelines or participation in any inappropriate behavior. We ask that all attendees uphold the highest moral standards while representing BigStuf.
Since this is such a short time for them to be together, we want to limit distractions and build meaningful connections. Because one of the biggest distractions a student has are devices, we will not be allowing phones or any devices on the bus or at camp. This means that any phone, iPad, tablet, or device with a screen that a student brings will be confiscated and returned to the student at the end of camp when we arrive back at church.
If you have any emergent reason to contact your child, or vice versa, our staff and leaders will all have their phones with them during the week. You can find our Student Ministry staff phone numbers and your child’s group leader’s phone numbers on the Contact tab of this page.

While it will be hot at camp, we are still requiring our students and leaders to dress modestly and appropriately. This means that no butts, no boxers, no cleavage, and no bellies should be seen. Only bring clothing that has been thoroughly tested for any potential wardrobe malfunctions in a variety of highly active situations. If there is an item of clothing becomes problematic, we will ask the student to change into something else they brought, or provide an alternative item of clothing to wear. Student Ministry staff have final say on dress code.

If there is an item of clothing/swimsuit that you have a question or concern about, please message Allison and she will be happy to answer questions.In addition, we are even more careful about what we post on social media, so if a student is concerned about being featured in posts, more conservative clothing choices will increase the likelihood that any pictures or video taken of them will be usable.

Everyone will make the following stops during check-in - please continue walking all the way through the loop, which will take you back to the parking lot to load your luggage on the busses.
Students should check in at the Registration Table by rising grade level, where they will be given a name bracelet, bus assignment, and room assignment. A LOT of logistics are considered in making these assignments, so unfortunately, we will not be able to make changes to them.
After checking in at their Registration Table, ALL STUDENTS AND A PARENT/GUARDIAN must then go by the Medication Table and either check in their medication OR the parent/guardian sign that they are not bringing medication.
*IMPORTANT: All medication should be in a ziploc bag with student’s full name on bag and written instructions included.
The last table before walking back out into the parking lot will be the T-Shirt table. Give the Adult Leaders your name and they’ll grab the shirt size you registered for. Sizes cannot be swapped during check-in. After students receive their shirts, they will be directed to the back parking lot to retrieve and load their luggage.
After students check in, we will have a brief orientation meeting in the Worship Center. Parents are encouraged to attend. We plan to leave SHC by 12:30pm.
We are planning to arrive back at SHC around 1pm Friday afternoon. We will be posting updates and having students contact their rides with updated ETA information while we’re en route. Please be sure you are following Sugar Hill Students on Facebook and/or Instagram for real time updates.
