We welcome anyone who wants a blessing ministering to senior adults - no singing experience required. We just have fun sharing God’s Love! Passing of the Key is an annual event where 5th graders have the opportunity to reflect on their years in Kids Ministry, while anticipating what God wants to do as they enter middle school. Our Kids Ministry Team leads our kids on a hike up a mountain as we think about the many things we have learned together over the years. At the top of the mountain, kids are handed off to our Student Ministry Team as they welcome them officially to Student Ministry at Sugar Hill Church.

All our Kids classes will be promoted to new classrooms, some with new leaders, so be sure to pay close attention to their tags so you drop them off in the correct classroom. And our new 6th graders will officially be welcomed into Student Programming at 11am in the Underground!

This week is creatively themed and engages kids with multi-media, drama, music, and hands-on activities that illustrate the Bible point of the day and week. Kids are grouped into teams with adult and student leaders which rotate through stations like Bible stories, games, crafts, and music.
One of the reasons we love to do VBS here at Sugar Hill Church is that it gives kids the opportunity to invite friends who may not ever come on a Sunday morning. VBS creates an environment for kids to hear how much God loves them, what His Word tells them about His love, and how they can share the love of God with their friends. We pray that it is a catalyst in the lives of kids to begin a faith journey of their own!
VBS is open to rising PreK - 5th Grade. All kids must be turning 4 by September 1 of this year.
