John 6:5 — “Jesus soon saw a huge crowd of people coming to look for him. Turning to Philip, he asked, ‘Where can we buy bread to feed all these people?’”
Jesus never asks a question to gain information—He asks a question to spark revelation.
John 6:7 — “Even if we worked for months, we wouldn’t have enough money to feed them!”
Jesus never flinches at too little. He builds glory out of “too little.”
What’s your five loaves?
What’s your two fish?
John 6:9 — “There’s a young boy here with five barley loaves and two fish. But what good is that with this huge crowd?”
John 6:11 — “Then Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks to God, and distributed them to the people. Afterward, he did the same with the fish.”
John 6:12 — “After everyone was full, Jesus told his disciples, ‘Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted.’”
God doesn’t just fill you—He overflows you.
No one who participates in a miracle leaves empty-handed.
They started with a question—“Where can we buy bread?”—and ended with twelve baskets of blessing.
This isn’t just about bread. It’s about a Messiah who is the bread.
John 6:35 — “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again.”
“You’ve got to hand it out! Because the miracle happens in the passing!”
John 6:35 — “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again.”
You don’t need more—start passing what you already have.
Our world is hungry right now. And Jesus looks right at His church—right at you—and says,
“You feed them.” (Mark 6:37)
What could He multiply in your life if you actually handed it over?
So here’s the picture I want you to carry:
This is what the kingdom looks like—God taking what little we think we have and showing us that in His hands, it’s already more than enough.
John 6:11 — “They all ate as much as they wanted.”
That’s the gospel right there.
