God's love isn't something we have to figure out – it's something we need to receive and then give away.
"We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them."
1 John 4:16
"For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."
John 3:16
His love came looking for us while we were still running in the opposite direction.
God doesn't decide to love – He loves because that's who He is.
"We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters."
1 John 3:16
Jesus didn't just talk about love – He demonstrated it through sacrifice.
"Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully."
Ephesians 3:17-19
Biblical love is a verb!
"Dear children, let's not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions."
1 John 3:18
"Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples."
John 13:35
It's time to unwrap this gift of love and share it with a world that's dying to experience it.
The world is watching, church. They're not just listening to what we say – they're watching what we do.
Remember, love isn't just what God does – it's who God is.
