God,
You see the relationships that shape my student—every friendship, every family dynamic. You know the influence others have on their fire—their heart, their emotions, their dreams—and You know how deeply they need both connection and grace.
Today, I pray for the friends in their life. Bring people who protect their fire, not pour gasoline on it. Let them find companions who sharpen their character, speak truth, celebrate their wins, and help them grow through the lows. Teach them to be that kind of friend—loyal, loving, and trustworthy. And where friendships have hurt or disappointed them, be their healing and steady presence.
I also pray for our family. I know we won’t always get it right. I know we’ll misunderstand, mess up, and even hurt each other at times. But God, help our home be the perfect place for grace. Give my child the strength to offer what they want most—to forgive, to show honor, to extend kindness—even when it’s hard. Grow their maturity. Teach them responsibility. Let them be a peacemaker in our house, even when emotions run high.
Show me, too, how to better love, listen, and lead with grace.
And in every moment of tension, help my student remember this: they are deeply loved—by You, by us, and by those who are walking this journey with them. Their worth isn’t on a scoreboard. It’s settled in You.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
