OUR DIVINE PURPOSE
KNOWING GOD & MAKING HIM KNOWN

We are a Jesus is enough kind of church. But what does that really mean? It means that when we as individuals know God through a relationship with Jesus and grow into knowing Him personally, intimately, reverently, spiritually, tangibly, mentally, and emotionally, we will discover our life’s purpose for the season we are in and beyond!
We say that we believe the Bible is a big deal. That’s because it is! It is God’s playbook for our lives—a life designed for our joy, His purpose, and our service to others!
We say that we believe Jesus is the BIGGEST DEAL. And that’s because He is! He is the only way we truly know God; in Him, we discover our purpose! He left Heaven so that we could have Heaven. He left perfection to forgive our imperfections. He went through Hell so we could avoid Hell.
The importance of knowing God
John 17:3
“And this is the way to have eternal life-to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.”
How do we know God?
1. Through His Word
2 Timothy 3:16-17
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.”
2. Through prayer
Jeremiah 29:12-13
“In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.”
John 10:27
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”
3. Through relationships with other followers of Jesus
Hebrews 10:24-25
“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”

Make Him Known
Matthew 28:19-20
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
The Great Commandment
Mark 12:30-31
"And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.' The second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these."
"We cannot stop telling about everything we have seen and heard."
Our experience of Knowing God should fuel our passion for sharing Jesus
Why? So more people can Know God personally, intimately, reverently, spiritually, tangibly, mentally, and emotionally. And so they will discover their life’s purpose for the season they are in and beyond!
