Happy Wednesday y'all! On today's episode of the weekday podcast, Pastor Chuck Allen moves to Exodus chapter 3, where an 80-year-old Moses—once a prince in Pharaoh's palace, now a fugitive shepherd in the wilderness—encounters God in one of Scripture's most famous scenes. On what began as an utterly ordinary workday, tending his father-in-law's sheep in the desert, Moses notices a bush that burns but isn't consumed by the flames. When he turns aside to investigate, God speaks from the fire, transforming common ground into holy ground and calling this broken, forgotten man back into purpose. Pastor Chuck unpacks the profound truth that God doesn't wait for special locations or perfect résumés—He meets us in ordinary places on ordinary days, and His presence is what makes the moment sacred. Through Moses' protest of "Who am I?" and God's response of "I will be with you," this message reminds us that our confidence doesn't come from our qualifications but from God's present-tense promise: "I AM" is with us right now, wherever we are.
