Today, we’re going to look at:
"For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places."— Ephesians 6:12 NLT
Evil doesn’t always slam the front door. It often creeps in through the side window—through lies, bitterness, fear, division, despair.
There is an evil that resists God’s good intention for creation. And the more you lean into God’s purpose, the more you feel that resistance.
"Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour."— 1 Peter 5:8 NLT
And the symptoms? They’re not always dramatic. They’re subtle—like fog that creeps in:
Liberation begins by simply *naming what you’re up against.
This might not just be depression. This might be attack. This is warfare. You’re no longer fighting blind.
"So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."— James 4:7 NLT
Notice the rhythm: humility first, then resistance.
Practically, your response looks like this:
The promise? The enemy flees. Not might. *Will.*
"I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives. Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity. Anyone who wants to be my disciple must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me. Now my soul is deeply troubled. Should I pray, ‘Father, save me from this hour’? But this is the very reason I came! Father, bring glory to your name.’ Then a voice spoke from heaven, saying, ‘I have already brought glory to my name, and I will do so again.’ When the crowd heard the voice, some thought it was thunder, while others declared an angel had spoken to him. Then Jesus told them, ‘The voice was for your benefit, not mine. The time for judging this world has come, when Satan, the ruler of this world, will be cast out."— John 12:24-31 NLT
"The ruler of this world will be cast out."— John 12:31 NLT
Satan’s authority has been broken. His eviction notice has been served.
Spiritual warfare is not about wondering if victory will come—it’s about standing in the authority of a victory already won.
When you face warfare, you don’t fight for victory. You fight from victory.
So today—
The battle isn’t easy. But the outcome? Already decided.
