Our Easter series is called “Waiting for When,” and it’s all about the hope that is found in Jesus! “Someday” can create images of unrealistic expectations that should bring us happiness but fall short. Looking at the stories from the Bible, we can see that God will help us even in our striving to be happy; will give us what we need, instead of what we want; and will provide contentment and strength, no matter the desire or situation.
This “Waiting for When” message series is designed to remind us how desperately we need God and remind us how completely Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection restores us. Join us on 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, and 3/24 at 9:15am + 11am.
Easter is a day of celebration as the stone has been rolled away, and Jesus is alive!
This year, we'll have Easter gatherings on 3/29 at 7pm as well as 3/31 at 8am, 9:30am, and 11am.
We'll have childcare available for infants - pre-k on 3/29 (register here), no kids programming at 8am, and programming for infants - 5th Grade at 9:30am and 11am.
If you’re looking for something to invite your friends and family to, any of our Easter gatherings are the perfect opportunity!
We believe Easter is a season of intentionality, remembrance, and thankfulness. This year, we'll have two Midweek Gatherings as we prepare our hearts for Resurrection Sunday.
We invite you to join us in the Chapel on March 13 and March 20 at 6:30pm for worship and prayer.
If you need childcare (infants-5th grade) on March 13, click here. If you need childcare (infants-5th grade) on March 20, click here.
During Easter this year, we're taking hygiene donations to give to those in need in our community. As you're able, bring hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc, to church with you during one of our Easter gatherings.
Pray for our mission partners around the globe this Easter. Pray for their staff, volunteers, and the clients that they serve.
Pray for those who don’t know Jesus. Pray that this season will be life-changing for them as they come to know Him.
Pray for those closest to you. Lift up their needs to the Lord this Easter. Be intentional in your conversations with those you love.
Pray for those in need. Pray that in this season, they might be seen and cared for.
Another way that we can partner together is by giving monetary gifts. This ensures that SHC can continue to carry out God’s mission and vision for serving people, both here in our community and around the world. We’re so grateful that God chooses to work through us and we’re committed to advancing the message of the Gospel. While God doesn’t need us or our finances, He does invite us to be partners with Him in His redemptive plan for the world! Click here to give.
