We believe there's nothing more powerful than feeling seen, known, and loved. All of our Student Programming is designed to help students build these kinds of relationships with other students their age, AND with some of the most incredible Adult Leaders in the whole world.
Wednesday Nights are a great way for 6th-12th grade students to get connected to Sugar Hill Students! Wednesdays normally consist of food, worship, teaching, and an amazing team of Adult Leaders investing in students through grade and gender-specific Small Groups.
Sunday Mornings are full ways for students to continue to grow in their faith. On Sundays, there are three main opportunities we have available: serving, attending the main worship gathering, and large groups.

In this episode of the Weekday Podcast, Pastor Chuck Allen explores the powerful weapon of love and how it drives out fear. Drawing from 2 Timothy 1:7 and 1 John 4:18, he explains how love, though not often seen as a weapon, can fiercely combat the enemy’s lies and help us overcome fear. By making […]
"The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." - Matthew 20:28 Jesus, the King of Kings, came not to be waited upon but to serve humanity. If Jesus prioritized service, how much more should we, His followers, embrace this calling? […]
In today's podcast, we dive into a powerful and transformative truth about our relationship with God. Have you ever wondered why, despite hearing about God's love and forgiveness, we often approach Him with hesitation or fear? Drawing inspiration from a profound story shared by a Catholic priest and the writings of Philip Yancey, we explore […]
In today's episode of the Weekday Podcast, we’re diving into the theme of restoration, focusing on the power of humility in building bridges that connect and heal. In a culture often driven by self-promotion, we’re reminded that true strength lies in lowering ourselves to help lift others. Drawing from Paul’s words in Galatians and examples […]
In this episode of the Weekday Podcast, we dive into the powerful words of 1 Samuel 2:30, where God promises to honor those who honor Him. Pastor Chuck draws a compelling parallel between the thrill of competition and the deeper, more meaningful pursuit of honoring God in everything we do—win or lose. Whether you’re chasing […]
In this episode of the Weekday Podcast, we’re diving into the importance of reaching out with compassion in a world that often chooses judgment instead. Drawing from Galatians 6:1, Pastor Bobby encourages us to be spiritual doctors, not judges—people who offer grace and restoration when others stumble. Using the examples of Peter and David, we’re […]
The Student’s Welcome Home Team creates a safe experience for students each week by greeting them as they arrive, introducing them to programming, and connecting them to their small group leader.

The SHC student ministry is focused on small group ministry. We believe that small group leaders are the real pastors in the lives of middle and high school students. Our hope for students is that they are seen, heard, loved, and known and we believe they help make that happen. Small group leaders are committed weekly to invest and lead the discussion time at the end of each Wednesday night service.
On Sunday mornings during the 11 AM service, our students break out into MS & HS table groups. A table group leader helps facilitate discussion at their tables of 7-9 students. Our students walk through scripture together that is focused on the big story of scripture led by table group leaders where groups write down observations from the passage, ways it connects to us, and what our take away can be. Table groups are integral for helping our students get invested into the Word each week.
